You will serve as a Freight Rate Specialist in the Traffic Management Office, Logistics Division of MARINE CORPS AIR GROUND COMBAT CTR.
Duties
You will accept, prepare and issue all documentation required in shipping and receiving of freight moving from and to the combat center to a myriad of domestic and international destinations.
You will determine freight classification for a variety of unusual and standard items, some of which have no recorded or published classification.
You will conduct pre-audits of freight bill for correctness.
You will coordinate requirements for shipping and receiving of cargo and rolling stock for special training exercises and reserve units arriving at the activity on a continuing basis.

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Determining the legally applicable and most economical rates and routes for shipment of freight in accordance with published tariffs.
