You will serve as a Freight Rate Specialist in the Traffic Management Office, Logistics Division of MARINE CORPS AIR GROUND COMBAT CTR.

Duties

Accept, prepare and issue all documentation required in shipping and receiving of freight moving from and to the combat center to a myriad of domestic and international destinations. Determine freight classification for a variety of unusual and standard items, some of which have no recorded or published classification. Conduct pre-audits of freight bill for correctness. Coordinate requirements for shipping and receiving of cargo and rolling stock for special training exercises and reserve units arriving at the activity on a continuing basis.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
