You will serve as a Supervisory Freight Rate Specialist in the Installation Support Directorate (ISD) of MARINE CORPS AIR GROUND COMBAT CTR.
Duties
You will supervise the Distribution Management Office freight and packing, packaging, preservation and marking operations with day-to-day direction and technical instructions.
You will assign workload, provide on-the-job training, and evaluate performance of assigned personnel.
You will monitor and evaluate transportation carrier performance.
You will provide technical and administrative guidance to personnel in the areas of preservation, packing, packaging, and shipment of outbound cargo.
You will provide technical and administrative guidance to personnel in the areas of receipt, documentation, and distribution of all freight consigned to MCAGCC.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing technical and customer support work in the areas of freight traffic management; DoD transportation IT systems; shipment packing, packaging, and preservation; transportation of sensitive Items (i.e. weapons) and compatibility and segregation requirements for hazardous materials.
