Work involves constructing, installing, modifying, repairing, troubleshooting, loading and testing new and existing electrical lines, circuits, systems, fixtures, controls, communication(tel/data), and other electrical equipment.

Duties

Include, but not limited to: Working with distribution lines and circuits of a wide range of voltage, amperage and phase requirements. Distribution of electrical panels, switchgear, power and control circuits. Responsible for determining work methods and trade techniques to be used in accomplishing assignments Plan working details and follow sketches, wiring diagrams or blueprints. Consult Supervisor, when necessary, for the interpretation of unusual or complicated planning Diagnose problems and assist to perform emergency repairs. Follow blueprints, sketches and work orders of items that need to be constructed/altered using your own initiative. Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm, May work weekends and holidays. Position Description Title/PD#: Electrician/PD12210A Physical Requirements: Requires lifting, carrying, pulling weights up to 75lbs. Kneeling, stooping, climbing ladders, reaching over and under into equipment while in cramped positions.
