You will serve as SUPERVISORY DATA HUB & SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT DIRECTOR in PW4 (Data Hub & Systems Management) of NAVFAC SOUTHWEST.
Duties
You will serve as a SME to the Lead Planner and is frequently sought out for consultation and advice by senior leaders, supervisors and professionals within and outside of the agency.
You will be responsible for the leadership/overall supervision/management of a team consisting of facilities planners, developmental planners, GIS professionals, Real Property Officers (RPO) and Real Property Accountability Officers (RPAO).
You will determine, monitor expenditures, and recommend whether resources need to be adjusted or reallocated among programs, functions or organizational units
You will be responsible for the development and management of planning and allocation, standards and criteria, program and community management and coordination of Data Hub and Systems Management Division practices related to real property.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Developing and executing plans including related resource requirements, space planning and space allocation, real estate and land use, schedules, and acquisition; 2) Planning, implementation, performance control, and achievement monitoring to manage programs and projects in a timely manner and accomplish objectives within resource constraints; 3) Evaluating various existing automated data systems for improving data management schemes and operating cost reductions; and 4) Applying motivation techniques to negotiate with persuasive arguments and reconcile differing interests to resolve personal and organizational conflicts to optimize performance and improve group productivity.
