About the Position: : This position is within the U.S. Army Mission and Installation Contracting Command. Their mission is to provide World Class products and logistics support. This position will exercise full range procurement analyst service.

Duties

Serves as the primary coordinator and facilitator for Unit Status Report (USR) submissions from all assigned units. Drafts pre-deployment training plans, joint training plans, and other associated documents or briefings as directed by the G3. Serves as the command trained administrator for the government purchase card (GPC) utilization on all training related events up to $25,000 in cost. Oversees the approval of Mission Essential Task Lists (METL) and ensures adjustments are made as a result of mission changes and/or annual command training and readiness assessments. Assists in the planning and development of MICC exercise support requirements. Serves as the lead for coordinating with Expeditionary Contracting Command (ECC) and ACC Center G3s for providing personnel (Military and/or Civilian) for exercise support Assist in the development, track, and update the command exercise plan and calendar ensuring support to the command's missions, vision, goals and objectives Performs research and analysis of unit training and readiness status. Serves as the Ammunition Management Information System (TAMIS) manager for the Command. Prepares and coordinates unit readiness analysis, and efforts to improve readiness for units identified for possible mobilization. Serves as a Command Administrator for the MICC for all matters involving web-based Total Employee Development System (TEDS).

Requirements

  • The position is Non-Critical Sensitive (2) requiring a Secret security clearance or the incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
  • The duties of this position require occasional temporary duty (TDY) travel.

Understanding of training systems to request training and ensure training is used effectively for the organization. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Database Management SystemsPlanning and EvaluatingTechnical CompetenceWeb Technology This is a DOD Demonstration Project position. Under the Defense Authorization Act, personnel management demonstration programs are operating in numerous Army activities and various other organizations supported by Army civilian personnel centers. Under the streamlined personnel operations for the demonstration projects, the familiar 15 General Schedule grade structure is replaced with broad pay bands that typically encompass a range of grades. For example, acquisition jobs in level NH-III of broad banding encompass the traditional GS-12 through GS-13 grades. Other initiatives under the demonstration projects include simplified job classification, streamlined hiring processes, and expanded developmental opportunities.
