About the Position: This PROGRAM ANALYST position is assigned to the Program Executive Office, Command Control Communications-Tactical Network (PEO C3T), PMO Tactical Radios, located in APG, MD.
Duties
Serves as an expert analyst and/or advisor for PEO/PM management regarding assigned projects and programs.
Establishes schedules for planning, coordination and accomplishment of work to facilitate the acquisition and/or work process.
Provides financial advisory services for a major segment of the PEO/PM budget for one or more funding lines or type of funds.
Performs analysis, evaluation and oversight of all aspects of the planning, programming, budgeting and execution of major Project Management
(PM) programs.
Represents the organization at meetings and briefings regarding assigned programs and projects. Also prepares material and conducts meetings and briefings.
Develops a variety of correspondence (e.g., PEO/PM orders/directives, standard operating procedures, reports, briefings, staff papers, etc.).
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Business - Financial Management within 60 months of entry on duty.
- This position requires the incumbent to maintain a Secret Security Clearance.

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as performing ALL of the following duties: 1) Developing annual/multi-year fiscal program plans using planning, programming, budgeting and execution (PPBE) process; 2) Developing cost and program acquisition lifecycle management documentation for assigned programs; and, 3) Advising the Program Manager regarding the status, efficiency, or effectiveness of acquisition programs. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH-02 or GS-11).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (NH-02 or GS-11).
