This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security, U. S. Coast Guard, Director of Logisitics (DOL), Base Seattle, Facilities Engineering in Seattle, Washington.
Duties
In this position, you will perform a variety of tasks associated with prevention, repair, overhaul, installations and maintenance to a wide range of plumbing, HVAC and mechanical systems and equipment in the Facilities Engineering Department as well as support other division operations.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Applicant is required to meet the physical requirements of the position.
- Males born after 12/31/1959 must be registered for Selective Service.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Technical Practices (theoretical, precise, artistic)
Use of Measuring Instruments
Ability to Interpret Instructions, Specifications, etc. (includes blueprint reading)
Ability to Use and Maintain Tools and Equipment
Knowledge of Materials
