You will serve as an ADMINSTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the Human Resources Division of CARDEROCK DIV NS.
This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-5 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14.
Duties
You will advise the Workforce Council and Workforce Director on issues and topics associated with the STRL DEMO Project.
You will update the DEMO Manual and attend the Laboratory Quality Enhancement Program (LQEP) Meetings.
You will provide interpretations of Demo rules.
You will serve as POC for DEMO data calls and audits.
You will develop Federal Register notices for new flexibilities and work with DoD to implement.
You will determine the scope and impact of any DEMO related initiatives.
You will develop appropriate Plans of Action and Milestones (POA and M), and when necessary, work with the Workforce Council functional teams.
You will provide DEMO training to Warfare Center HRO and OCHR staffs.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-4 (GS-11/12 equivalency) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing 1) Interpretation and instruction on recruitment, examination/selection/placing employees, presenting information clearly to broad audiences; 2) Program oversight for special programs (such as student and recent graduate programs; special hiring authorities; veteran hiring; or workforce shaping); and 3) Advice to management officials in identifying, attracting and retaining a high-quality and diverse workforce.
