This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command.
It is in the Professional Work Category at the Full Performance Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA-GLOBAL BUSINESS OPERATIONS DIVISION (RN13).
Duties
Reviews and updates Command/division level instructions, policies and procedures, guidebooks, and standardized briefing/document templates.
Responsible for Knowledge Management for the command to include maintenance and exposure of command and division-level guidance documents and all standardized templates across all media types and locations.
Provides quality assurance review, basic technical editing, and final release procedural tracking of all test plans/reports, presentations, status reports, and staffed documents released by the division in support of its DoD and DISA.
Serves as a point of contact for one-time and recurring data calls that involves reports on briefings, plans, and/or reports that were delivered per agreed upon schedules.
Skill in communicating issues in a clear, understandable manner for the purpose of briefing high-level officials, preparing reports, and other documents, as well as participating in working groups, meetings, and conferences.

- This national security position, which may require access to classified information, requires a favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment. Failure to maintain security eligibility may result in termination.
- This is a drug testing designated position.
- This position requires the incumbent to travel away from their normal duty station to other locations within the continental United States (CONUS) up to 10% of the time.
- This position requires a Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
- Salary will be based on grade level upon selection.

Qualifying Experience:
To qualify at the GG-09: your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service.
For this position at the GG-09 level, qualifying experience is defined as: Experience coordinating with customers and subject matter experts to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures; reviewing and interpreting policies and procedures for Knowledge Management; and assisting with gathering data in support of program evaluation.
To qualify at the GG-11: your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service.
For this position at the GG-11 level, qualifying experience is defined as: Experience coordinating with customers and subject matter experts to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures; reviewing and interpreting policies and procedure for Knowledge Management; and gathering and analyzing data for reporting in support of program metrics, program status updates, and process efficiencies.

Education
GG-9 Substitution of Education for Experience: Two full years of progressively higher level graduate education, Master's or equivalent graduate degree, may be substituted to meet the qualifying experience requirement.
