You will serve as a Fire and Emergency Services Management Analyst (MPV-F) of COMMANDER - NAVAL INSTALLATIONS.

Duties

You will develop and analyze budget submissions and revisions to determine the effects on a program. You will track and perform follow-up requirements for investigations, reviews, audits, and inspections. You will develop new, modify and report upon management processes or procedures for administering Fire and Emergency Services program in particulars those related to Fire and Emergency Services manpower, budgeting and financial execution. You will develop and implement analytical processes and models related to Fire and Emergency Services manpower and budgets.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Interpreting manpower requirements, particularly those of fire and emergency services; collecting, analyzing, and reporting manpower information; interpreting budget and financial management processes; Using financial systems while reporting information, Interpreting DoD/DoN POM processes and deliverables; Conducting analytical modeling and/or studies predicting appropriate program resourcing (manpower and funding).
