You will serve as a TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER (ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL) in the Live Virtual Constructive Training Division, Range Systems Engineering Department of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CTR CORONA DIV.

Duties

You will serve as a subject matter expert and Fleet Strike Group/Expeditionary Readiness Group Large Force Exercise (LFE) Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) training Operations Director. You will interface with customers to ensure Fleet Response Training Plan (FRTP) events are planned and executed to maximize current and future Navy Continuous Training Environment (NCTE) capabilities in support of training objectives. You will manage and monitor NCTE training capabilities related to Link Inject to Live (LITL), to include mission planning and execution. You will maintain data base of best practices and lessons learned for LITL employment in FRTP events. You will coordinate exercise support requirements and tasking with the operations and maintenance (OM) contractor to include monitoring events as they happen to ensure successful delivery of training support to the customer.

  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS 11/12 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing and evaluating requirements of a training system to develop long term strategic plans regarding technology and capabilities in support of fleet warfare training programs.
