Duties
You will serve as a LEAD FFAECC SCHEDULER in the Fleet Area Control and Surveillance Facility Virginia Capes (FACSFAC VACAPES) in NAS OCEANA.
You will ensure that the organizations strategic plan, mission, vision and values are communicated to the team and integrated into the teams strategies, goals, objectives, work plans and work products and services.
You will be responsible for team leadership, fleet development and executive oversight of scheduling and coordinating assets.
You will provide support to Fleet Forces Atlantic Exercise Coordination Center (FFAECC) in the development, coordination, planning, and execution of highly specialized training exercises.
You will support FFAECC in the scheduling of naval exercises involving a variety of ranges, airspace, sea space, and support assets.
Requirements

- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
*Experience utilizing policies, procedures, and regulations required to coordinate assets involved in Fleet training exercises and Fleet operations with regard to air and water space management.
*Experience applying safety regulations and procedures required for issuance of Notice to Mariners/Airmen (NOTMAR/NOTAM); operational
knowledge of Flight Information Publication (FLIP) planning publications is required.
*Experience completing respective task requirements (e.g. Academics, Warfare Area(s), Program or Policy support) and managing/prioritizing large, complex projects involving numerous stakeholders as team and/or project leader.
*Experience conducting fleet training analysis/assessment to identify gaps, training needs and solutions.
