You will serve as a BRANCH HEAD in the LIVE VIRTUAL CONSTRUCTIVE TRAINING DIVISION, RANGE SYSTEMS ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CTR CORONA DIV, located at OCEANA NAVAL AIR STATION - VIRGINIA BEACH, VA.

Duties

You will represent the U.S. Fleet Forces Command Navy Continuous Training Environment (NCTE) training support equities for the full spectrum of warfare as part of the Fleet training event planning team. You will support training operations around the world 24/7/365. You will make resourcing decisions as customer requirements change, often on short notice in response to emergent Force Generation demand signals. You will be responsible for the execution of the branch's day-to-day responsibilities and ensure the delivery of quality products on time and within budget. You will administer budget, government personnel and on-site staffing at disparate locations, and manage customer relationships and programs. You will execute the Command's strategic direction, create and promote a shared vision of the organization's mission, and foster cooperation, communication, and consensus among groups. You will lead a portfolio of operations subject matter experts supporting Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) training and any combination thereof - L only, VC only, LVC, etc.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
• Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Developing strategic plans to support NCTE operations for the achievement of Fleet warfare training objectives.
