Duties
Forecasts potential staffing and support requirements, resolves administrative problems, and plans and projects time for historically recurring requirements.
Coordinates administrative assignments, analyzes the administrative process to improve the effectiveness of the administrative process, and performs a variety of special projects for the Office of a Director and Deputy Director.
Prepares draft briefings by gathering background data, searching out missing information, ensuring proper coordination, and continually updating recurring briefings.
Oversees the planning and execution of conferences, meetings, organization-wide training events and off sites.
Works regularly with the office of the Agency Director to schedule appointments, provide read-ahead material and arrange meetings, briefings and events as appropriate.

Qualifications
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade (GS-11) within the federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is required.
Specialized Experience Defined As: Providing executive-level administrative support and communicating with senior level staff and high-ranking internal and external officials.
Time-in-Grade: Current or former federal employees who have held a GS position in the preceding 52 weeks, must meet the time in grade requirement. Applicant must have served 52 weeks as a GS-11 or higher grade in Federal Service.
You may qualify for consideration if meeting time-in grade, specialized experience, education requirement, 90 days after competitive appointment requirement, and all other qualification requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of the announcement, unless otherwise indicated on the announcement.
