This position is located in the Division of Administration, Human Resources Office/Executive Resources & Strategic Programs/Corporate Staffing Programs responsible for corporate staffing operations and comprehensive regional human capital programs and operations.

Duties
The duties below will involve pathways and entry level examiner hiring that includes the use of various special hiring authorities e.g. interns and recent graduates, and other special hiring authorities or program areas:
Qualifications
Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Additional qualifications information can be found here.
To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the 11 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as providing technical advice, guidance, and consultation to managers, supervisors and employees in recruitment, staffing, delegated examining, personnel action processing, and experience using automated HR systems to prepare vacancy announcements, evaluate eligibility and qualifications, process or code personnel actions, and gather and compile data for various tracking or status reports.
Selective Placement Factor
In addition to the qualification requirements listed above, you must also meet the following selective factor to be considered eligible for this job. The selective factor is defined as: Current Delegated Examining certification by the U.S. Office of Personnel Management is required for this position.
