You will serve as a Administrative Assistant in the Naval Submirine School of NAVAL SUBMARINE SCHOOL NLON.
Duties
You will plan, coordinate and provide: administrative services; information management; liaison to the military; and pay and personnel assistance support to Naval Submarine School, Groton, CT.
You will serve as the point-of-contact for training and maintenance of Navy Pay and Personnel Systems.
You will perform a full range of standard and non-standard clerical assignments which typically involve different and unrelated steps, processes, or methods.
You will utilize a variety of office automation applications to manage information and data.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-06) or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Examples of qualifying experience include utilizing advanced software to produce a wide range of documents requiring complex formats; preparing variety of properly formatted and grammatically correct correspondence; and communicating effectively in writing and orally to high level officials in order to obtain and provide information related to the organizational matters.
