You will serve as a ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT (OA) in the TRAINING SUPPORT DEPARTMENT of NAVAL SUBMARINE SCHOOL of NAVAL SUBMARINE SCHOOL NLON.
Duties
You will maintain records or files to ensure they are up-to-date.
You will input time and leave data into an automated database system in accordance with policy and regulations.
You will prepare correspondence, reports, and documents using Microsoft Office products.
You will maintain a department library for the updating and accuracy of files, new documents, regulations, or statutory requirements.

Qualifications
This position has a selective placement factor that will be used to screen out ineligible candidates. The selective placement factor is: This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Preparing documents, records and reports in accordance with regulations, policies and procedures; 2) Maintaining electronic library of records, files and correspondence to ensure easy retrievability; 3) Interpreting policies and regulations to provide administrative assistance to personnel; and 4) Utilizing electronic information systems to track and maintain personnel information and records.
