You will serve as a Administrative Assistant (OA) in the Naval Submarine School of NAVAL SUBMARINE SCHOOL NLON.
Duties
You will correct discrepancies in student files for accurate record maintenance.
You will answer a multi-line phone system and provide information to various customers.
You will assess and offer appropriate advice based on each candidate's unique situation.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Process transfers, gains, personnel transactions, and pay actions for military personnel; 2) Prepare correspondence, reports, memoranda, and other documents ensuring proper grammar, format and attachments; 3) Produce a wide range of documents that often require complex formats, requiring the use of advanced hardware/software functions to meet the needs of complex formatting; and 4) Prepare documents, records and reports in accordance with regulations, policies and procedures.

Physical Demands:
The work is primarily sedentary. Some standing for periods at the counter, walking, bending or carrying of items occurs. Pick-up and delivery of mail requires the ability to lift parcels up to 40 pounds sometimes.
Work Environment:
Work is performed in a typical office setting with proper temperature, lighting and ventilation. Normal safety precautions against every day risks or discomforts, is observed.
