Duties

Provide day-to-day oversight, coordination of effort, and senior-leader advice affecting the overall effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of the U.S. Army Medical Logistics Command (AMLC) Operations. Develop policies relative to the AMLC training management program for Military, Civilian, Student, and Local National workforce in order to achieve the short- and long-range strategic goals and objectives of the organization. Provide a high-level review of action papers, staff studies, Information Papers, and Executive Summaries relating to a wide variety of subject matter concerning the organization, operations procedures, and operations of the AMLC.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires temporary duty travel up to 20% of the time.
  • Appointment to this position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
  • Must obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance through the duration of employment in this position.

You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Decision MakingOral CommunicationPlanning and Evaluating Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
