You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the NAVAIR of NAWCTSD ORLANDO.
Duties
You will serve as the Source Selection Evaluation Board (SSEB) Chair or assistant for all assigned training program requirements.
You will represents the Project Manager (PJM) and the FTSS Assistant Program Manager, Logistics (APML) during the source selection process, training program conferences, meetings, and program reviews.
You will visit operational training support installations, and private industry to provide technical direction, advice and assistance as required.
You will identifies requirements that are at risk, or cannot be attained, and provides recommendations for risk mitigation.
You will provide subject matter expertise and comprehensive training system support for multiple fielded training system program contracts.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (DS-04) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following duties: Solving highly complex logistics problems and proactively assessing their root causes; 2) Ensuring that risk management is accomplished through appropriate involvement; 3) Demonstrating knowledge of integrated logistics management experience of fielded training system requirements; 4) Developing and executing logistics support plans and contracting support strategies; 5) Participating in the development and management of budgetary requirements for assigned training system programs.
