You will serve as a PROCUREMENT TECHNICIAN for NAVFAC NORTHWEST. You'll be at the center of procurement, managing contracts, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring smooth operations. Duties
You will review and prepare documents (e.g., delivery orders, change orders, amendments, modifications) in compliance with procurement procedures
You will track status of requisition, contracts, and orders using automated files
You will type correspondence, reports, or similar materials from draft form to enter into a database
You will update contract documents or contract files to correct discrepancies in preparation for contract close-out procedures
You will input data (e.g., statistics, acquisition) into data processing equipment
You will perform data entry into a procurement system or other automated databases
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Reviewing changes to procurement regulations and policies and coordinating with the supervisor/specialist on any required changes to solicitations or contracts; 2) Tracking the status of actions/orders using automated and manual systems and through contacts with vendors/contractors; 3) Collecting vendor quotes/proposals according to competitive requirements and abstracts bid information; 4) Investigating and resolving customer/vendor complaints of errors in shipment, payment, and/or contract documentation; and 5) Inputting various statistical and acquisition data into data processing equipment and procurement databases. **NOTE** This information must be clearly supported in your resume.
