Duties

As a PROGRAM ANALYST at the NH-0343-2/3 some of your typical work assignments may include: Ensure all tasking are tracked and completed in advance of deadlines for thorough reviewing, vetting, and staffing prior to timely submission. Assist, plan, and coordinate activities of a multi-discipline team engaged in program management functions. Assist establishing and maintaining liaison within MDA to plan, coordinate, draft documents, and accomplish assigned responsibilities. Aid in resolving problem areas and provide basis for improvements. Support organizational reviews. Assist with analyses of organization to determine status, trends, issues and impacts to program execution. Aid in manpower planning activities. Draft documents and create briefings and other artifacts with assistance from senior analysts. Assist senior analysts in coordinating and identifying near-term and long-term program requirements to ensure mission objectives are met.

  • Position requires DoD Acquisition certification coded Foundational in Engineering and Technical Management within required timeframes
  • Must obtain mandatory Back to Basics (B2B) certification within 36 months of entry into position
  • Must achieve 80 hours of Continuous Learning Points (CLPs) every 2-years

Qualifications

You may qualify at the NH-03 , if you fulfill the following qualifications: A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-02/GS-07 grade level in the Federal service as listed below: Experience working in a team environment, including cross-collaboration among peers Utilizing a Manpower Database Utilizing a Task Tracking Tool OR B. In lieu of specialized experience, I have 2 full academic years of progressively higher level graduate education or masters or equivalent graduate degree or LL.B. or J.D. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
