This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
About the Position: Serves as a financial analyst performing a wide range of financial, analytic, and management functions within the U.S. Army Medical Command (MEDCOM) Budget Integration Division.
Duties
Serves as a financial analyst performing a wide range of financial, analytic, and management functions within the U. S. Army Medical Command (MEDCOM) Budget Integration Division.
Assists in constructing approved fund targets for OMA medical readiness programs.
Requirements
- Able to obtain and maintain Secret Security Clearance
- Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
- One year trial/probationary period may be required.
- You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship.
- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position.
- Selectees must meet position requirements for certification at Level II in the Acquisition Career Field within 24 months of entrance on duty.

Specialized experience is defined as: Responsible for budgeting, integration, justification, and execution of wide range of programs within Army appropriations Operation and Maintenance, Army (OMA), Family Advocacy Program, Department of Defense Appropriations, and supplemental appropriations within the MEDCOM purview. Provides financial guidance and technical assistance on programs to Army senior leadership, functional managers, and other budget personnel in DA. Provides input for drafting Congressional inquiries, input and coordination of assigned programs, and other actions related to assigned areas of responsibilities in keeping with fiscal, regulatory and legal constraints imposed by DA, OSD, OMB, and Congressional policies.
