About the Position: This Supervisory Resource Analyst serves as the Program and Budget Division Chief and IMCOM Budget Officer, Resource Management (G-8) Directorate, Headquarters, U.S. Army Installation Management Command (IMCOM), located at Fort Sam Houston, Texas.

Duties

Plans, directs, and supervises division work to ensure consolidation of multiple appropriations into a coherent funding picture. Counsels and advises employees on work and administrative matters and bears and resolves complaints and grievances. Develops performance standards and identifies training needs and arranges for training. Participates in meetings involving financial, manpower and program and budget management and integration planning/problems. Leads Programming, Budget and Execution processes for a 3-Star Command responsible for 80 global installations.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
  • Incumbent may be required to complete a one year Supervisory probation period.
  • This is a Financial Management Level 3 Certified position.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-14 above). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Budget AdministrationLeadershipManages Resources Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-???????14).
