Duties
Serve as Senior Program Analyst within the DEVCOM Plans, Programs, and Assessments with responsibility for providing program analysis and project management.
Also, serving as a Senior Program Analyst to include cost analysis, risk analysis, schedule analysis), strategic planning, and continuous performance improvement for Science and Technology portfolio of programs.
Manage programs that involve a wide range of in-depth systematic analysis of varied developmental and transition problems, which result in the definition of major critical areas and proposed alternatives.
Resolve problems of greatest complexity for which precedents and guidelines may be inappropriate or entirely inadequate.
Exercises independent judgment and discretion and serves as senior analyst for Science and Technology portfolio as well as investment decision recommendations.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- 10% duty travel (TDY) required.
- One-year probationary period may be required if not already completed.
- Secret security clearance required.

Specialized Experience: one year of specialized experience which includes: (1) Developing programmatic estimates for return on investment and operational need, (2) providing authoritative policy interpretations, and (3) advising senior executives on allocations of resources.
