About the Position: This position is located at Madigan Army Medical Center (MAMC), at JBLM, WA.

Duties

Performs receiving functions for medical items (i.e., precious metals, sensitive high dollar items, narcotics and chemicals, reagents, biological, vaccines, and hazardous materials). Receives depot and local purchase items. Carries out destruction procedures for controlled substances and damaged or expired items. Perform shipping and packing functions Pulls items from various storage areas stocked, refrigerator, security areas) according to stock information on the and places in designated temporary holding areas.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• A Pre-employment Physical is required and may be subject to an annual physical or medical surveillance examination.
• Incumbent must obtain or possess and maintain a valid State Driver's License, prior to employment.
• Must obtain and maintain a Forklift Certification and take a driving test within 180 days of employment.
