You will serve as a Deputy Security Officer for the Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Keyport, Washington (NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA).
Duties
You will assist the Security Officer in the management and oversight of the Command Privacy and Personally Identifiable Information (PII) program, Key Management Infrastructure (KMI) and automated access control system for physical security.
You will provide authoritative advice on all matters concerning management of all NUWC Division Keyport security programs in the absence of the Security Officer and provide augmenting management support.
You will manage Command Anti-terrorism and Insider Threat programs and serve as the Command Antiterrorism Officer.
You will work with all levels of Command, Headquarters, and regulatory personnel.
You will supervise personnel, plan, organize and lead teams of personnel with varying disciplines and grade levels.
You will set performance standards and evaluate employee performance, counsel employees, delegate work, manage staff workload and deadlines, ensure safe work practices, and implement NUWC EEO Policy.
You will maintain coordination and liaison with Naval Criminal Investigative Services (NCIS).

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 pay band (GS-11/12 grade level) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Applying a wide range of security management principles to analyze and resolve difficult and complex security problems. Examples of Qualifying Experience may include managing DoD and Navy security programs such as Anti-Terrorism Force Protection (AT/FP), Operations Security, Physical Security, Insider Threat, Information Security, Industrial Security, Security Education and Training Awareness (SETA), AA&E protection and their application to NUWC mission unique systems such as torpedoes, targets, mines, countermeasures, combat systems, unmanned underwater vehicles (UUV), research and development vehicles, as well as the exploitation of foreign technologies; and/or experience with crisis management, COOP, training and procedures and risk mitigation techniques, protocols, and procedures. Experience in leading a diverse group of personnel in a fast paced working environment.
