You will serve as the Information Security Program Manager in the Security Office of Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Keyport, Washington (NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA).

Duties

You will develop and implement policies, procedures, training and methods to identify and protect classified and sensitive information from unauthorized disclosure, misuse, loss, or compromise. You will implement regulations governing the marking, safeguarding, transmission, transportation, dissemination, storage, destruction of classified information, and the disclosure of classified information to foreign governments. You will plan, organize, and delegate work. You will lead teams of personnel with varying disciplines and grade levels. You will utilize knowledge of administration process, program philosophy, technical terminology, and security requirements relating to disclosure of classified information.

  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-03 pay band (GS-9/10 grade level equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing development and implementation assistance for policies, procedures, and training to identify and protect information, property, facilities, and operations. Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

A Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree;
OR
Three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree;
OR
An LL.M. degree in a field directly related to the position being filled.
