You will serve as a Procurement Analyst in the Property Management; Corporate Operations Department of NAVSURFWARCENDLD.
This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-2 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-5 through GS-8.
Duties
You will support the review and analyzation of procurement requirements for internal and external customers in major Programs across Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division.
You will assist customers with completing the necessary procurement documentation, tracking procurement to delivery, and ensure FIAR audit readiness.
You will review and adhere to business rules and practices.
You will follow process and aid in identifying system and process inefficiencies.
You will become familiar with the life-cycle procurement processes to include Material Screening, ITPR Coordination, PR Creation and Buying Actions, DLR Processing, Discrepancy Reporting, and DRMO Requisitioning.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least three (3) years of general experience that includes one (1) year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band, NT-01 (GS-01 through GS-04 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying analytical techniques to gather data and identify problems impacting procurement operations or processes.

Education
Education may be substituted if one or more of the following are met:
- Successfully completed a four-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree.
OR
- Combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience. My percentage of the required education plus my percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent.
