You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the TRAINING AND EDUCATION COMMAND, G-1, Civilian Manpower Branch of TRAINING AND EDUCATION COMMAND.

Duties

You will provide oversight, advice, and support for the agency’s civilian personnel management, payroll, special projects and studies, and a variety of other organizational administrative matters. You will serve as advisor to Training and Education Command (TECOM) HQ management officials on civilian personnel issues, to include the establishment and execution of the Civilian Manpower Requirements Review Board (CMRRB). You will advise and assist management in achieving sound organization structures. You will evaluate and make recommendations on recruitment request, high-grade requests and position reviews. You will devise, recommend and gain acceptance of changes in the way management structures and fills positions. You will perform a variety of special, nonrecurring projects, which involve defining problems, gathering data, and coordinating, analyzing, evaluating, compiling, and preparing final reports.

• You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Developing, analyzing, evaluating, and advising on manpower matters and program operations. In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree
OR
Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree
OR
