The incumbent of this position serves as the Program Analyst, EN-0343-03, Infrastructure Planning & Integration Division (NA-911) responsible for analyzing, evaluating, and advising to management on the effectiveness and efficiency of NNSA execution of programs and functions, the distribution of work amongst positions and organizations, appropriate staffing levels and skills mix, benefits/uses of automation to improve the efficiency of administrative support or program operations.
Duties
As a Management Analyst, you will:
Analyze interrelated issues of effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity affecting NNSA programs.
Plan and establish long-range (more than 5 year) program goals, objectives, and measurement criteria.
Evaluate and measure program extent of compliance with NNSA.
Identify and propose solutions to broad, important, severe, previously inadequately studied/addressed management problems.
Qualifications
Specialized Experience:
Experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression (NNSA pay band or GS grade level in the Federal service i.e., NQ/NN/EN-02 or GS-11).
Specialized experience for this position is defined as: Experience analyzing and evaluating current management and organizational practices to determine the most efficient way to organize work within a process center.
Examples of Specialize Experience:
Experience developing recommendations resulting in increased productivity and efficiency in providing service to users.
Experience performing a range of analytical studies and projects related to filed program operations in the areas of management and productivity improvement.
