You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the BUSINESS ANALYTICS TEAM of NAVFAC NORTHWEST. GS-11: $97,376-$126,585 GS-12: $97,376- $126,585

Duties

You will coordinate production efforts to maintain high quality control of work by providing guidance and assistance to shop management in coordinating, planning, executing, and monitoring quality control actions. You will conduct audits and assessments of shop quality control procedures to determine the degree of compliance with established requirements. You will anticipate problems, provide recommendations for resolution, and negotiate a course of action. You will Provide analysis on reported metrics to determine potential improvement initiatives. You will provide support to deficiency reporting processes and manage tracking systems.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

FOR GS-12:Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-11) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Creating diversity goals and strategies for achieving them; 2) Providing briefings to all levels of leadership and employees; 3) Reviewing resources and tactics in accomplishing program objectives and goals, and 4) Identifying methods for measuring success of diversity initiatives. FOR GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-09) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1)conducting statistical analysis on quantifiable data for a training program (e.g. reviews, instructions, surveys or reports) 2) to develop and implement newly established or modified policies for improving operational efficiency and effectiveness.
