Duties
Communicates the organization’s mission, vision, and values to the team and ensures they are integrated into team goals, objectives, work plans, products and services.
Distributes team assignments among team members in accordance with workflow, skill level and specialization.
Reports to the supervisor periodically on team and individual work accomplishments, problems and progress in team building.
Monitors and evaluates financial systems support to ensure compliance, internal controls, and optimal operating procedures.
Analyzes and evaluates financial transactions, reports, input to and output from automated systems to gather facts, analyze trends, define and validate problem areas culminating in findings.
Interprets financial and administrative policies, regulations and higher-level guidance adapting the guidelines to the situation at hand.
Refines existing work methods and techniques for application to the analysis of specific issues or resolution of problems.

Qualifications
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade (GS-11) within the federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is required.
Specialized Experience Defined As: Analyzing financial and accounting activities, processes, and business practices in order to recommend process improvements; performing statistical studies on survey and report data to improve work operations; and reviewing financial/accounting systems to assess their efficiency/effectiveness.
Time-in-Grade: Current or former federal employees who have held a GS position in the preceding 52 weeks, must meet the time in grade requirement. Applicant must have served 52 weeks as a GS-11 or higher grade in Federal Service.
You may qualify for consideration if meeting time-in grade, specialized experience, education requirement, 90 days after competitive appointment requirement, and all other qualification requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of the announcement, unless otherwise indicated on the announcement.
