This position is located in the Office of Investment and Innovation (OII). OII promotes small business and startup investment and innovation by providing access to capital, networks, and assistance critical for businesses to incubate, expand and sustain. OII partners with Small Business Investment Companies (SBICs), Innovation Accelerator Networks, Universities, and the SBIR (Small Business Innovation Research)/STTR (Small Business Technology Transfer Program community.

• You must be a U.S. Citizen.

• You may be required to serve a one-year probationary period.

• This is a bargaining unit position with AFGE Local 228.

Qualifications

To qualify at the: GS-12: One year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service, obtained in either the private or public sector that includes: Performing financial analysis and evaluation of management structures, operations, and practices of corporations and other organizations; AND Assisting in researching, interpreting, and applying, regulations and policies to business operations that will ensure compliance with program regulations, polices, and procedures. These qualifications must be clearly referenced in your resume. To qualify at the:GS-13: One year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service, obtained in either the private or public sector that includes: Performing complex financial analysis and evaluation of management structures, operations, and practices of corporations and other organizations; AND Researching, interpreting, and applying, regulations and policies to business operations that will ensure compliance with program policies and procedures; AND Leading regulatory compliance for program policies and procedures used to manage program risk.
