Duties
You will coordinate projects (e.g., maintenance, repair, improvement) with activities to resolve facility related issues.
You will serve in a leadership role for HVAC system failures and provide guidance to facility maintenance and sustainment personnel.
You will develop procedures related to maintenance and repair of HVAC systems to ensure conformance with approved procedures.
You will create written documents (e.g., specifications, test required documents, drawings) to outline recommendations on technical engineering projects.
You will analyze methods of testing to determine or improve effectiveness, reliability or validity of the process.
Requirements

Qualifications
For the GS-12, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties:
Analyzing, studying, and calculating solutions for HVAC system problems.
Conducting field investigations to collect data, determine the condition of facility systems, and propose improvements.
Coordinating with engineers on acceptance criteria and performance, overseeing testing, and ensuring proper data capture in a Computerized Maintenance Management System.
Designing and implementing a proactive maintenance program using preventative and predictive maintenance technologies.
Leading system failure responses, guiding maintenance staff, consulting with stakeholders, and evaluating systems and data to make recommendations.
For the GS-11, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties:
Analyzing and solving problems related to HVAC systems, including Direct Digital Control (DDC) systems.
Conducting field investigations to gather data and assess facility systems, then recommending improvements.
Working with engineers on performance criteria, overseeing testing, and ensuring HVAC system data is accurately recorded in the Computerized Maintenance Management System.
Helping design and implement a proactive maintenance program using preventative and predictive maintenance techniques.
Evaluating system failures, guiding maintenance personnel, and analyzing data from a Computerized Maintenance Management System to provide recommendations.
