About the Position: Serves as Chief, Officer Board Support Branch, serves as second level supervisor, comprised of Approximately six (6) Civilians, who perform clerical and technical, duties in support of the mandatory promotion system for the Active Component of the Department of the Army (DA), located at Human Resources Command (HRC), The Adjutant General Directorate (TAGD) at Fort Knox, KY.
Duties
Develop and supports the team building process by facilitating employee empowerment, allocating available resources, coaching, mentoring, and assisting employees.
Contact and receives phone calls from and coordinates with a variety of personnel.
Interpret, laws, regulations, procedures, policies, directives, and resolves regulatory interpretation and application issues.
Explain work requirements, methods, procedures, and gives special instructions on difficult or unusual cases or operations, and technical questions pertaining for work.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes:1) Resolving personnel issues while ensuring compliance with regulations and/or policies; 2) Developing integrated solutions to solve difficult problems within the human resources department; AND 3) Using computer and/or software applications to support office functions such as completing requests for personnel actions. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11 or above])
