About the Position: The position is responsible for performing customer support services in the areas of material identification, ordering/requisitioning, follow-up, material receipt, issue, storage, inventory management.
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base (DIB) & Major Range and Test Facilities Base (MRTFB) in DoD.
Duties
Responsible for acquisition of material to satisfy urgent, immediate and routine requests for Not in Stock (NIS), Non-Stocked Items (NSI), and automated stock buys.
Procures supplies, equipment and services using the Government-wide commercial credit card.
Incumbent is responsible for accurate inventory management which includes requisitioning, receiving, storing and issuing stock/non-stock items.
Controls quality of supply requests for pertinent information such as valid Job Order Number (JON), National Stock Number (NSN), quantity, unit of issue, description and price.
Assigned as a Government Purchase Cardholder (GPC) and is responsible in all tasks related to the use and regulatory compliance of the purchase card and the purchase care program.
Manage DMLSS system for recalls on supplies, equipment and pharmaceuticals and act immediately to research if any items recalled are at facility are quickly pulled from stock to guarantee safety of patients and staff.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
- Immunization screening is required. Hepatitis B immunization is required for all positions with direct patient contact. Applicants may be required to show proof of other immunizations depending on the type of position.
- This position has mandatory seasonal Influenza vaccination requirements and is subject to annual seasonal Influenza vaccinations unless otherwise exempted for medical or religious reasons (documentation of exemption must be provided upon hire).
- Tuberculosis (TB): This position requires the incumbent to have Tuberculosis testing.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes documented experience in: 1) utilizing automated systems for logistical purposes such as building, reviewing, researching, and processing orders; 2) researching and resolving logistical issues regarding automated systems and/or inventory; 3) maintaining inventory of medical and/or pharmaceutical supplies and equipment.
Education
