As a Program Analyst with the Real Estate Branch, Facilities and Real Estate Division, Office of Strategic Infrastructure, NASA Headquarters you will manage, plan, analyze, organize, and coordinate NASA real property transactions across the Agency. You will be conducting analyses of real property transactions such as recording new assets, improvements to existing assets and divestments as well as provide analytical and evaluative input to management.
Duties
Duties described below are at the highest grade advertised. Duties assigned at lower grade levels will be of more limited scope, performed with less independence and limited complexity; duties will be commensurate with the grade of selected employee.
Conducts analyses of NASA real property and real estate transactions in accordance with Agency policies and procedures.
Ensures accurate recording and reporting of assigned real property inventory and management of real property records in accordance with the NASA Records Retention Schedule to support Agency management of real property assets.
Supports accurate management of NASA real property by preparing, coordinating, and processing real property accountability documentation to include transfer and/or notification of acceptance of accountability of real property.
Supports Realty Specialists with preparation, coordination, and processing divestment requests to include documentation.
Provides real property management reports to stakeholders using Agency tools, such as Business Objects (BOBJ).
Researches and applies directives, regulations and policies and resolving conflicts.
Analyzes and advises real property management on the evaluation of the effectiveness of processes and procedures and the productivity and
efficiency of the real property program.

Qualifications
Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
To qualify for GS-12, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level:
Processing transfers and/or notifications of real property forms to ensure accurate accountability of agency real property;
Coordinating real property transactions with stakeholder organizations such as Real Property, Facility Utilization, Master Planning, Office of the Chief Financial Officer and Center Operations;
Conducting real property transactions in the real property management system software, such as SAP to support accurate accountability.
To qualify for GS-13, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level:
Coordinating real property transactions with other government and/or private entities;
Participating in process development and improvement activities related to real property accountability;
Accepting accountability of real property improvements made through construction, transfer, and/or purchase.
