About the Position: The US Army Garrison APG Directorate of Operations, Protection Division, Physical Security Branch's objective is to safeguard U.S. Government property, facilities and personnel against loss, theft, damage, espionage or any other activities which threaten life, property and continuation of military operations.
Duties
Analyze, evaluate and recommend TDA manpower management improvement strategies
Provide advice, guidance and assistance to management on civilian manpower, organization structure and TDA documentation
Determine need for additional allocation of manpower resources
Analyze manpower data from a wide variety of source materials, i.e., reports, automated systems, regulatory guidelines, TDAs, strength reports, etc.
Review and analyze manpower guidance.
Conduct TDA manpower studies and surveys.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Appointment to this position is subject to a two year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined is: One year of specialized experience at the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent in: 1) maintaining the Table of Distribution Allowances (TDA). 2) Performing manpower management tasks for an organization. 3) Conducting manpower studies that will inform resources and organizational structure. 4) Applying manpower policy and guidance.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
