The primary purpose of this position is to To serve as the Drug Demand Reduction Program Coordinator, ensuring program requirements and standards are met to include the development of policies and guidance, training platforms and funding is obtained and monitored.
Duties
Performs work for coordination of Demand Reduction Program (DRP).
Performs budget and financial responsibilities.
Performs special and recurring projects and assignments.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Experience requirements are described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Group Coverage Qualification Standard for Administrative and Management Positions. Due to the use of 120-day rosters, this period of experience may be completed within 120 days of the closing date of this announcement.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-09, or equivalent in other pay systems. Examples of specialized experience includes and demonstrates the ability to analyze problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize solutions; plan and organize work; and communicate effectively orally and in writing. NOTE: Due to the use of 120-day rosters, this period of experience may be completed within 120 days of the closing date of this announcement.
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
COMBINATION OF EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: Equivalent combinations of education and experience are qualifying for all grade levels for which both education and experience are acceptable.
FEDERAL TIME-IN-GRADE (TIG) REQUIREMENT FOR GENERAL SCHEDULE (GS) POSITIONS: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-09 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-11 level. TIG applies if you are in a current GS position or held a GS position within the previous 52 weeks.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Comprehensive knowledge of medical administration, governing directives, and related methods and procedures pertaining to demand reduction and education and prevention programs.
2. Knowledge of health services management principles, health care delivery and/or management of health care systems
and operations.
3. Knowledge of support systems, resources, professionals, and organizations that pertaining to demand reduction.
4. Knowledge of principles, methods, and techniques related to demand reduction and education and prevention programs to plan, develop, and implement a program for the Air Force Reserve Command.
5. Knowledge of organizational structure and missions of the Command to adapt program requirements to meet needs of the Air Force Reserve Command.
6. Knowledge of analytical and evaluation methods and an understanding of how regulatory or enforcement programs are administered to select appropriate evaluations and measurement techniques to determine extent of compliance with directives.
7. Knowledge of Demand Reduction Program operations/activities and ability to develop, manage and implement program activities for a major command.
8. Ability to monitor and evaluate program performance and provide recommendations for program improvement.
9. Ability to work with Federal and non-Federal professional and administrative personnel and coordinate program requirements and resources.
10. Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, and maintain effective work relationships.
11. Comprehensive knowledge of data system analysis and related computer programs to include spreadsheets, database management, word processing, presentations, and networking programs.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
