About the Position: Visit the US Army Corps of Engineers, Transatlantic Middle East District website at the link here. Winchester, a city of 30,000, is located in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley 70 miles northwest of Washington, DC. This position will be filled on a permanent basis.

Duties

Manage overall program budgets to include forecasting and financial analysis. Serve as the district's primary point of contact for customer and other external agencies on assigned programs/projects. Manage assigned program/project scopes, budgets and schedules. Provide status reports on projects assigned (progress, issues and trends) to the district corporate leadership.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires you to submit a Public Financial Disclosure Report (OGE 278) or a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.
  • Business travel (TDY) may be up to 20% of duty time.

You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Administration and ManagementCustomer ServiceProject Management Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12). All requirements must be met within 30 days of job announcement closing.
