You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST (LEGISLATIVE LIAISON) in the Office of the Director of MARINE CORPS COMBAT DEVELOPMENT CMD.

Duties

You will facilitate and manage the Deputy Commandant Combat Development and Intergration Share Point site to ensure information papers and other data are available. You will prepare congressional and other high-level briefs. You will prepare Deputy Commandant Combat Development and Integration to testify and/or brief Congress, You will facilitate, coordinate and prepare reports, responses to request for information, justifications, background papers and records as required. You will maintain continuous liaison across the Marine Corps, Department of the Navy, other Services, and DoD offices to communicate, represent, and integrate Combat Development and Integration equities, You will plan, coordinate, and lead Combat Development and Integration testimony prep sessions.

• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
• You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector overseeing the development of policy and legislative initiatives, ensuring accessibility of information papers, data, and acting as a liaison and representative across agencies and preparing high level briefings.
