About the Position: Serves as Human Resources Assistant (Military) for the 120th AG Battalion (Reception), 193rd Infantry Battalion, Fort Jackson, SC.
Regular tour of duty is Monday-Friday, 2130-0600.
This position requires the following:

Duties
Responsible for automated systems and their use to facilitate availability of data necessary for processing Soldiers into the Army.
Serves as the primary advisor to the Chief of Initial Receiving Branch (IRB) on all matters concerning night IRB operations and functions.
Supervises and directs the work of the night shift IRB civilian and military personnel.
Serves as a primary hand receipt holder responsible for accountability and security of automated equipment.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a favorable T1 (background) investigation.
- Required to work both planned and unscheduled overtime.
- Required to work irregular work hours including holidays and weekends.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Researching and analyzing data to produce various types of military personnel reports; and 2) Utilizing military personnel databases, computers, and software programs to complete administrative tasks. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
Qualified Typist Required: This position requires a qualified typist. A qualified typist can type 40 words per minute based on a 5 minute
sample with three or fewer errors.
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
