About the Position: Serve as a staff analyst to plan, develop, and monitor implementation of plans, policies, procedures, and guidance for Garrison to assist with productivity, quality management, and organization improvements.
Duties
As staff analyst, plans and advises on implementation of new ideas, procedures, processes, methods or approaches of substantial scope, difficulty, and complexity in areas of productivity, quality management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Exercises technical expertise, creativeness, progressive and seasoned judgment and provides consultant and advisory services to create the strategic business plan.
Build allocation/execution plans and documentation and implement and monitor budgetary or accounting policies and systems.
Advise on significant changes in objectives and measurements and conduct continuous improvement studies, process waivers, or integrate a variety of functions and initiatives.
Ensures strategic planning evaluation/assessments adequately and effectively address and measure key customer and operational requirements for on-going process improvements aligned with organizations' strategic direction.
Develops and manages customer feedback initiatives and systems to document and evaluate results of productivity and quality management programs and installation improvement activities.
Performs staff actions/analyses and coordination actions related to all aspects of productivity, quality management, and continuous improvement management.
Conducts continuous improvement studies and surveys, and provides advice on matters involving continuous improvement doctrine, methodology and issues.
Serves as team member or independent analyst for various productivity, quality, or continuous improvement initiatives submitted from sources throughout DOD that impact all organizational levels and assesses program results.
Represents the garrison in meetings with staff officials.
Plans work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets and adjusts short-term priorities, and prepares schedules for completion of work.
Requirements

- Temporary Duty Travel (TDY) may be required up to 5%.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
