Duties
This position requires expertise in acquisition policy and process, information technology, and management techniques.
Provides leadership and direction over multiple difficult and complex major acquisition programs.
Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Division.
Provides authoritative financial advice and oversees inputs used for presentation and defense of the customer's current and future years program and submission, budget estimates submissions, IT Budget, and the President's Budget.
Manages and coordinates DISA's participation in the Planning, Programming, and Budgeting, Execution process, strategic planning initiatives, and financial management services at the customer level.
Directs and monitors the execution of the customer's annual operating and capital budgets.
Provides authoritative interpretation of various DoD and DISA appropriated and/or working capital fund budget and accounting directives, memoranda and similar documentation as it relates to the customer's resources.

Qualifications
Time in Grade:
For entry at the GS-15 level, status applicants must have served 52 weeks as a GS-14 or higher grade in the Federal Service.
Specialized Experience:
For the GS-15, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service, or comparable in difficulty and responsibility to GS-14 if outside the Federal service.
Specialized experience at the GS-15 level is defined as experience analyzing programmatic requirements and strategic needs to allocate resources (planning, programming, budgeting and execution) across diverse budgets to provide Information Technology (IT) capabilities; and experience overseeing financial systems, or equivalent, directing investment strategies, advising senior leaders, and managing team members on financials, portfolios, or enterprise IT program(s).
In addition to meeting the specialized experience requirements, qualified applicants must also possess the quality of experience as it relates to how closely or to what extent an applicant's background, recency of experience, education, and training are relevant to the duties and responsibilities of the announced position. Candidates must clearly demonstrate the possession of competencies necessary to successfully perform the work of the position at the appropriate level to be qualified for the position.
