About the Position: Serves as a Senior Management Analyst for United States Army Force Management Support Agency (USAFMSA), Operations Division, responsible for advising Director USAFMSA / Director of Force Management, Headquarters Department of the Army(HQDA), Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff (ODCS), G-3/5/7, HQDA and Deputy Director USAFMSA on Army force development policies and procedures.
Duties
Develops plans and actions to synchronize Force Management and Force Structure Documentation.
Oversees, provides guidance and policy regarding the work of technical professional employees involved in the development and maintenance of force documentation (TOE MTOE) and force management products (eg BOIPs), within the force management arena.
Provides policies and establishes work practices that ensure standardization, integration, and quality assurance of force documentation.
Serves as a USAFMSA focal point for the receipt, analysis, and management of inputs and outputs to the force documentation system.
Analyzes and develops documents and FM products for HQDA approval. Evaluates documents and FM products for compliance and approval.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Position requires travel up to 25% of the time. Must be able to travel overnight within 1 to 2 weeks’ notice.
- Drivers License Required. Must be able to operate POV or a rental car while traveling.
- May be required to work overtime.
- Incumbent must obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1. Creating new Force Documentation to reflect approved manpower, equipment, and force structure decisions; 2. Developing Force Management documents within the Force Management System (FMS) to achieve capabilities, transformation and modernization objectives; and 3. Planning the development of comprehensive draft Total Force Documentation to support organizational analysis of prototype force structure organizations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).
