About the Position: This is a Supply Technician, GS-2005-06, position in Operations Division of the Combined Arms Center (CAC) & Fort Leavenworth, Army Management Staff College (AMSC). Incumbent is responsible for planning the timely requisitioning and receipt of supplies and equipment used by the staff, faculty, and students of the AMSC.
Duties
The incumbent serves as a U.S. Government International Merchant Purchase Authorization Card (IMPAC) cardholder for operational purchases up to $25,000.00 per billing cycle.
The incumbent is responsible for managing property and equipment records and regulating hand receipt accounts, is responsible for managing the government owned property assigned to the Army Management Staff College (AMSC).
Provide oversight of the AMSC Safety requirements including representation of AMSC at Army University Safety briefings.
Conduct 100% key inventory semi-annually and maintain key registries ensuring keys are properly issued and turned in.
Provides purchasing and budget related recommendations to the Supervisory Management and Program Analyst through researching product availability, deliverability, and cost.
Coordinate with Defense Automated Printing Service (DAPS) to complete print acquisition requests.
Organize and arrange items in a manner that will ensure easy access and inventory.

Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position may require temporary duty (TDY) for business for up to 10% of the time.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Driver’s License.
- This position requires the incumbent to pass a pre-employment physical and annually thereafter.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience utilizing an automated system to track materials, supplies and/or equipment; and experience resolving inventory discrepancies.This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-05).
