You will serve as a MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST in the Governance Division, Office of the Executive Director (ED) BUREAU OF MEDICINE AND SURGERY.

Duties

You will advise managers on methods for improving efficiencies with new processes and procedures. You will create new lines of analytical approaches that provide performance data for a more effective or economical operation. You will conduct organizational effectiveness training for an organization. You will guide lower level managers in the evaluation of the effectiveness of business processes and procedures. You will analyze program or project issues to determine solutions to meet objectives within established timelines or financial constraints. You will develop solutions for discrepancies in program analysis.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience assisting senior level management to ensure alignment with corporate strategic goals and implementation activities. Experience supporting strategy planning and implementation activities for Navy Medicine Strategic Council (NMSC) and Quality Collaborative Synchronization Board (QCSB). Experience conducting special studies, analysis, surveys, and evaluations as determined by the Director. Experience providing analytical, evaluative, developmental or advisory work directed toward improving managerial policies, methods, procedures, and/or organizational structures in a health care delivery system. Experience developing procedures and practices ensuring effective application of project management and planning strategies supporting headquarters decision-making.
