You will serve as a Lead Targeting Planner of HEADQUARTERS US INDO-PACIFIC COMMAND.
A Cost-of-Living-Allowance (COLA) of 8.90% will be added to the stated salary.
Duties
You will review, refine, and continuously update standing target folders to understand the most urgent threats, their key vulnerabilities, and anticipated order of battle when facing Joint and Coalition forces operating throughout the lndo-Pacific.
You will coordinate air, land, and maritime targeting plans and joint effects throughout the lndo-Pacific AOR.
You will provide overarching targeting expertise in the planning of: war plans, force protection; manned and unmanned platform operations.
You will provide management oversight of subordinates regarding assigned programs to ensure effective program implementation within existing policies on a long-term basis.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector utilizing an expert knowledge of Joint Fires Targeting planning, policies, processes and procedures along with demonstrated experience in Joint Targeting Cycle planning, execution, and assessment. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Coordinate air, land, and maritime targeting plans and joint effects throughout the lndo-Pacific AOR.; 2) Review, refine, and continuously update standing target folders to understand the most urgent threats, their key vulnerabilities, and anticipated order of battle when facing Joint and Coalition forces operating throughout the lndo-Pacific; 3) Provide overarching targeting expertise in the planning of: war plans, force protection; manned and unmanned platform operations.; and 4) Provide management oversight of subordinates regarding assigned programs, to ensure effective program implementation within existing policies on a long-term basis.
